Meeting called to order by President Larry Hayes at 6:18 pm.

We Established a Quorum
Approve Secretary Minutes from 5-7-09
Rex moved to waive reading of the minutes. Ron seconded. Passed unanimously. Rex moved to accept the minutes of May 7, 2009 as corrected. Carol seconded and it passed unanimously.
Treasurer’s Report
Checking Acct: $ 8,843.30 . as of September 30, 2009
Savings Acct: $ 37,435.90 . as of October 10, 2009
DISCUSSION ITEMS
Discuss installation of new gate system
We will install the system ourselves. We will ask for volunteers with expertise in this area.
Discuss working on container
We will seal it with bondo and install ventilation. Janet will be the paint committee chairman and will get the paint and paint it. We will put “Cool Coat” on the roof.
Discuss installation of Sign Posts and Street Signs
We will put up a sign for volunteers. We will put posts in planting pots of cement so they will be ready to put in holes made by Ron’s backhoe.

New Business:
We will look for a used tractor to replace the mower. It breaks down every time it is used now.
We “Resolved,” that, effective 10-29-09 the Board of Kula Kai View Estates Community Association has adopted a small change to the covenants per HRS 421-J-7.5. The restated document is to be recorded by the President as soon as possible.
